As an alternative provision we played an important role in the COVID-19 response, and are committed to providing continuity of education provision and pastoral care as well as meeting the welfare needs of our students and their families, including providing weekly food parcels and signposting to places of help and support.
Employability Solutions have reopened with a carefully planned transition period during the first half term that focuses on promoting student wellbeing and mental health, post-COVID trauma recovery and reintegration back into education.
We want to ensure that all young people are nurtured and held throughout this period of uncertainty and minimise any further disruption to their education.
We have worked to ensure we can deliver a blended learning model and enable students to continue their education from home should they be required to self isolate at any time.

We have take a stepped approach to building the resilience and confidence of students to return to education safely. Measures include:
- Small groups (bubbles) with staggered start, break and finish times
- Time for supported remote learning and reduced timetables where appropriate
- Continued keyworker outreach, pastoral and family support
- Off site enrichment activity
