Paige's Background

When Paige joined the Youth Hub in September 2025, she wasn’t quite sure what direction to take. She knew she wanted to move forward, whether that meant getting a job, starting an apprenticeship, or going to college, but she needed a bit of guidance to figure out her next steps.

First Steps

We got started with some focused goal setting. Together, we reviewed her CV and identified improvements to help her stand out. Paige took feedback on board and set short-term goals: update her CV, attend local employment events like Future Focus, and explore apprenticeship and college opportunities online.

Whilst on our Programme

Since joining the Youth Hub in September 2025, Paige has made incredible strides toward her career goals. With guidance, she updated her CV and started sending it out to employers to boost her chances of finding work.

Paige’s drive led her to enrol at Hugh Baird College, where she began studying Business Development and is now on track to earn valuable qualifications in Dementia (Level 2) and Health & Social Care (Level 2).

It’s amazing to see how far Paige has come in just a few months, from feeling unsure to taking bold, practical steps toward her ambitions.

We are proud to support Paige’s journey and excited to see all that she’ll accomplish next!

Next Steps

Paige is preparing for hospital-based work experience starting in February, which will give her hands-on insight into the health sector.

Alongside her studies, she’s actively applying for part-time roles to build her experience and income.
